Former President Barack Obama was spotted mask-less and scowling while speaking with masked construction architects working on his new Hawaii home.
The photos taken Friday are the first to show the former president visiting the site of the newly built beachfront home on Oahu, the Daily Mail reported.
The photos show Obama speaking to at least four other men with the construction firm Armstrong Builders, all of whom were masked up. Masks are not required to be worn outside in Hawaii. The property on the southeastern tip of Oahu was purchased in 2015 by Obama’s friend and Obama Foundation Chairman Marty Nesbitt for $8.7 million. The property was made famous in the 1980s by the TV show “Magnum P.I.”
Construction on the property came under fire in 2020 when reports surfaced that the project was using a loophole to retain a seawall that is reportedly causing beach erosion. Seawalls interrupt the natural flow of the ocean and prevent beaches from moving inland, according to scientists and environmental experts.

Democrats across the country are scrambling to reverse course on COVID-19 restrictions as this year’s midterm elections loom. With the notable exception of the White House, Democrats at every level are signaling their support for returning to normal as polls show Americans are weary of coronavirus restrictions, which Republican states have largely done away with.
According to a recent poll by Monmouth University, 70% of Americans say it is time for the country to move on from the pandemic, and a decreasing number of Americans support COVID-related mandates. President Biden’s approval ratings on handling COVID, once a strength, are also now underwater, with 43% approving and 53% disapproving, according to the poll.

But with the midterms ahead, many Democrats who once led the way in issuing lockdown orders and mandates over the course of the pandemic are easing restrictions in their states in defiance of the administration.
Swing states first
Swing states like Michigan, Colorado, and Pennsylvania were among the first Democrat-led states to loosen COVID-19 restrictions last year. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is up for reelection this year, implemented some of the strictest COVID-19 orders in the country in 2020, including banning travel between two residences and the selling of non-essential goods. She lifted most of her restrictions last summer and has since pushed vaccinations as the best way to slow the spread.

The Youngkin effect
The shift in Democratic messaging surrounding the pandemic was buoyed in part by Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s upset win in Virginia in November. Focus group findings by Third Way, a think tank aligned with Democrats, found those swing voters who voted for Youngkin over Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe were motivated by COVID-19 restrictions and school closures even more so than critical race theory being taught in the classroom.

President Joe Biden’s first year in office has not only seen inflation run at the fastest pace in four decades. It has also seen the trade deficit expand to the widest import-export gap on record.
The trade deficit of goods and services grew by 1.8 percent in December to a seasonally adjusted $80.7 billion, the Commerce Department said Tuesday, slightly less than the record deficit of $80.8 billion reached in September.
The full-year trade deficit for 2021 increased 27 percent to $859.1 billion, passing the previous record of $763.53 billion set in 2006. Commerce Department records go back to 1960.
The sharp increase comes from a U.S. economy stricken with a weakened manufacturing sector that could not expand to match consumer demand as the country emerged from the pandemic. American consumers spent heavily on goods which in past decades would have expanded U.S. production but now fuels imports.

As President Biden ‘celebrated’ the ‘most successful first year of a presidency ever’ last week, his approval rating hit a new low (worse than it was in November amid the Kabul crisis).
Americans see inflation is at a forty-year high, the economy is faltering, the COVID-19 pandemic is never-ending (more deaths under Biden than Trump), among numerous other things.
So, is it any wonder that the Biden administration is desperately seeking a distraction from the domestic chaos… and what better and more time-test strategy than to start a land war in Eurasia?
For months, Russia has amassed forces near Ukraine. Now, Western corporate media and the White House are using the threat of war to crowd out news headlines of inflation, bare shelves at supermarkets, supply chain woes, and rising violent crime.
A recent example of this form of distraction came in 1998 when President Bill Clinton suddenly decided, just days after he confessed to having sexual relations with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, to bomb potential terrorists in Afghanistan and Sudan.
Let us hope the maniacs [Jim – struck through – people] in the White House are not serious about actually engaging in a kinetic war this time… to boost Biden’s dismal approval rating.

Struggling Biden Admin Prepares to Drastically Change How COVID Hospitalizations Are Counted
As the Biden administration deals with poll numbers it does not like, it is trying to find a way to generate some better COVID-19 numbers, according to a new report.
Politico reported that the administration is looking to recalculate who gets counted as a COVID-19 hospitalization case. The report was based on what Politico called “two senior officials familiar with the matter.”
The action comes after a Pew Research poll found President Joe Biden’s approval rating at 41 percent. Pew noted that Biden’s approval rating on the coronavirus pandemic tumbled from 65 percent in March 2021 to 44 percent in January.
Data has been a battleground since the dawn of the pandemic, with some critics claiming that many cases listed as COVID-19 have been wrongly classified.
For example, on Monday, data supplied by the office of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul showed that between 30 and 54 percent of patients counted as COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state actually entered a facility for some other health issue, and only tested positive after admission.
The Biden administration is now trying to report that kind of data nationally so it can use lower numbers to drive coronavirus policy, according to Politico.
The outlet reported that officials from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are trying to distinguish between those who enter a hospital due to COVID-19 and those who test positive but entered for another reason.

Fauci says the ‘full-blown’ COVID-19 pandemic is almost over in the US
The number of people in hospitals with COVID-19 across the U.S. has tumbled more than 28% over the past 3 weeks. Fauci told the paper that there is no way to eradicate the virus, but he hopes that “we are looking at a time when we have enough people vaccinated and enough people with protection from the previous infection that the Covid restrictions will soon be a thing of the past.”
He also said it may not be needed for all Americans to get boosted in the future. “It will depend on who you are,” he said. “But if you are a normal, healthy 30-year-old person with no underlying conditions, you might need a booster only every four or five years.”
A group of three Russian warships capable of landing tanks and troops ashore now in the Black Sea, as the Russian Navy begins to mass ships in the Mediterranean. The 4,080-ton amphibious are each capable of landing 10 main battle tanks and about 350 troops ashore.
The three ships were part of the six-amphibious warship task group assembled from the Baltic and North fleets that pulled into the Russian naval base in Syria as part of a series of naval exercises. All seven are due in the Black Sea by the end of the week.

Outrage as Biden Gives Soros Nonprofit $164 Million to Help Criminal Migrants Escape Punishment
Even as the White House claims that Joe Biden is not soft on crime, it has been reported that his administration has the potential to give nearly $200 million to a Soros-linked group to help criminal illegals escape punishment.
Federal budget watchdog Open the Books revealed that Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services awarded a $164 million contract to left-wing advocacy organization Vera Institute of Justice to fund lawyers for illegal aliens and undocumented minors, according to Just the News.
The award started as a $158 million contract in 2021, but this year HHS added an additional $6 million to the till. And some sources say that Biden is looking to make the contract rise to $198 million when all is said and done, Just the News reported.
A major problem with this program is that it tends to encourage illegal migration. If illegals think that any infraction, they perpetrate will be smoothed over by lawyers paid for by the very government whose laws they are breaking, what will stop them from continuing to stream over the border?

Democratic Rep. Maggie Nurrenbern, another former teacher, said the legislation would be a “Trojan horse to destroy quality education.”
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sparked criticism last month after tweeting that curriculum transparency bills are just “thinly veiled attempts at chilling teachers and students from learning and talking about race and gender in schools.”

Bill Gates has had a very deep involvement in all thing’s vaccines. Initially, the purpose of the die was primarily meant to help developing countries where the recordkeeping is subpar. “It’s possible someday that this ‘invisible’ approach could create new possibilities for data storage, biosensing, and vaccine applications that could improve how medical care is provided particularly in the developing world,” said Robert Langer, a researcher on the MIT dye project.
However, in the age of COVID-19 and vaccine passports, many have become nervous at the prospect of this technology’s possible applications.
