The Fallen Ministers in 2022

Fall/judgment of Saul and sadly, Jonathan

2 Samuel 1:1-16 “Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had stayed two days in Ziklag, 2 on the third day, behold, it happened that a man came from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dust on his head. So it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the ground and prostrated himself. 3 And David said to him, “Where have you come from?” So, he said to him, “I have escaped from the camp of Israel.” 4 Then David said to him, “How did the matter go? Please tell me.” And he answered, “The people have fled from the battle, many of the people are fallen and dead, and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.” 5 So David said to the young man who told him, “How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?” 6 Then the young man who told him said, “As I happened by chance to be on Mount Gilboa, there was Saul, leaning on his spear; and indeed, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 7 Now when he looked behind him, he saw me and called to me. And I answered, ‘Here I am.’ 8 And he said to me, ‘Who are you?’ So I answered him, ‘I am an Amalekite.’ 9 He said to me again, ‘Please stand over me and kill me, for anguish has come upon me, but my life still remains in me.’ 10 So I stood over him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. And I took the crown that was on his head and the bracelet that was on his arm and have brought them here to my lord.”

11 Therefore David took hold of his own clothes and tore them, and so did all the men who were with him. 12 And they mourned and wept and fasted until evening for Saul and for Jonathan his son, for the people of the Lord and for the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword. 13 Then David said to the young man who told him, “Where are you from?” And he answered, “I am the son of an alien, an Amalekite.” 14 So David said to him, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?” 15 Then David called one of the young men and said, “Go near, and execute him!” And he struck him so that he died. 16 So David said to him, “Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

1 Samuel 1:17-26 “Then David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son, 18 and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed, it is written in the Book of Jasher:

19 “The beauty of Israel is slain on your high places! How the mighty have fallen! 20 Tell it not in Gath, proclaim it not in the streets of Ashkelon— Lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, Lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph. 21 “O mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew nor rain upon you, nor fields of offerings. For the shield of the mighty is [defiled] cast away there! The shield of Saul, not anointed with oil. 22 From the blood of the slain, From the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, And the sword of Saul did not return empty. 23 “Saul and Jonathan were beloved and pleasant in their lives, and in their death, they were not divided. They were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions. 24 “O daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with luxury. Who put ornaments of gold on your apparel? 25 “How the mighty have fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan was slain in your high places. 26 I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan.”

Judgement in the House of God

John 17:21 “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.”

Ecumenical [first used in 1587]

Webster’s Dictionary: of, relating to, or representing the whole of a body of churches, promoting, or tending toward worldwide Christian unity or cooperation.

Ecumenism symbol from a plaque in St. Anne’s Church, Augsburg, Germany. It shows Christianity as a boat at sea with the cross serving as the mast.

Wikipedia: Ecumenism (/ɪˈkjuːmənɪzəm/), also spelled oecumenism, is the concept and principle that Christians who belong to different Christian denominations should work together to develop closer relationships among their churches and promote Christian unity. (2) The adjective ecumenical is thus applied to any interdenominational initiative that encourages greater cooperation between Christians and their churches. Wikipedia

Judgement in the House of God

I Peter 4:17

1 Peter 4:17 “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” KJV

1 Peter 4:17 “For it is the time [destined] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not respect or believe or obey the gospel of God?” AMP

Time – Greek 2540: universally, a fixed and definite time: Romans 13:11; 2 Corinthians 6:2 (now is the set time for salvation) – In this case, according to Strong’s – a time for judgement.

Judgement – Greek 2917: in a forensic sense the sentence of a judge, the punishment with which one is sentenced, the execution of judgment as displayed in the infliction of punishment.

Georgia pastor arrested after 8 people found ‘imprisoned against their will’ in basement

January 22, 2022 [The Hill]

The Griffin Police Department said in a news release on Jan. 18 that Curtis Keith Bankston, 55, and his wife, Sophia Simm-Bankston, 56, were running an “unlicensed group home” at the house “under the guise of a church known as One Step of Faith 2nd Chance.”

An investigation found that the “the ‘caretakers’ have been leasing this property for approximately fourteen months, using the basement as a personal care home for the individuals, which essentially imprisoned them against their will,” the release said.

“It was further determined that most, if not all, of the individuals residing in the basement, were mentally and/or physically disabled,” it continued.

Police said they had charged Curtis Keith Bankston and that charges against Sophia Simm-Bankston were forth-coming. They added that the investigation was ongoing and that additional charges for both were likely.

“It is both frightening and disgusting to see the degree to which these individuals have been taken advantage of by people who were in a position of trust,” Griffin police wrote in the release. The pastor has disputed the charges.

Hundreds Accuse Independent Baptist Pastors of Abuse

Kate Shellnutt – December 12, 2018

Investigation by Fort Worth Star-Telegram finds 400 allegations against 168 leaders spanning almost 200 churches and institutions.

Hundreds of women and men have accused leaders of independent fundamental Baptist churches of sexual misconduct in a major investigative report published last weekend by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The series uncovered 412 allegations of abuse across nearly 200 churches and institutions, which by definition exist apart from denominational affiliations and in contrast to more mainstream Baptist or evangelical bodies like the Southern Baptist Convention.

“From Connecticut to California, the stories are tragically similar: A music minister molested a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina and moved to another church in Florida,” the Star-Telegram wrote. “Another girl’s parents stood in front of their Connecticut congregation to acknowledge their daughter’s ‘sin’ after she was abused by her youth pastor, beginning at 16. This year, four women accused a pastor in California of covering up sexual misconduct and shielding the abusers over almost 25 years.”

In all, 168 leaders—including some of the most prominent pastors among the group’s thousands of US congregations—faced abuse accusations over incidents spanning from the 1970s to present-day. More than 130 of them have been found guilty of rape, kidnapping, sexual assault, and a litany of other crimes, with most victims being children and teens, according to a database compiled by the Star-Telegram. Dozens of abusive pastors had multiple victims—one raped 11 girls in his congregation—and several had abused children as young as 7 years old.

There is nothing wrong with being wealthy, of course. But with great wealth comes great responsibility. Regardless of your rung on the income ladder, we must remember that Jesus viewed wealth as a gift from God to be used in His service. The Parable of the Shrewd Manager teaches us that God must be the most important thing in our lives: “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” [Luke 16:13-31]

Revelation 3:15-18 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you mayest be rich; and white raiment, that you mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that you mayest see.” KJV [Not read on broadcast]

Revelation 3:15-18 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. 17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have prospered and grown wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked [without hope and in great need], 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold that has been heated red hot and refined by fire so that you may become truly rich; and white clothes [representing righteousness] to clothe yourself so that the shame of your nakedness will not be seen; and healing salve to put on your eyes so that you may see. [AMP]

Revelation 3:16 The work lukewarm is a metaphor based on the quality of the water supply of Laodicea, which was delivered by aqueduct from the hot mineral springs about five miles away. During its journey, the water cooled to a warm or lukewarm temperature.

The city of Laodicea was founded during the third century before Christ. It was located on a plateau, a feature which ensured it would be secure from enemy attack. The location would seemingly be ideal were it not for the city’s vulnerable water supply. Laodicea depended on water from the neighboring city of Hierapolis located six miles to the north. Water from the hot springs of Hierapolis was piped via aqueduct to Laodicea, however by the time the water arrived it was insipid and tepid. It was neither hot nor cold.

  • It was a wealthy city and a financial center.
  • A lustrous black wool was produced there which was woven into much-desired clothing.
  • It was the location of a temple dedicated to Asklepios. Associated with the temple was a medical school. It is also likely that a medicine known as Phrygian powder was formulated in Laodicea. Phrygian power was used as an eye salve.
    • Asklepion, “to cut open,” in Greek mythology was the god of medicine. Theoretically, after his death, he was placed amongst the stars as the constellation Ophiochus (“the Serpent Holder”). Some say his mother was also set in the heavens as Corvus, the crow (korônê in Greek).

Revelation 3:15-18 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you wert cold or hot.16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you mayest be rich; and white raiment, that you mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that you mayest see.” [Not read due to time]

Acts 19:11-12 “God gave Paul the power to do unusual miracles, so that even when handkerchiefs or cloths that had touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and any evil spirits within them came out.” (The New Living Translation)

Please let us know about your healing so that we may post it and give the Father glory for what Jesus has provided.

Testimony: [No way to verify or track – typical tactic]

Jerry C. was given a healing cloth because he had cancer of the throat and lungs. He was on a feeding tube at home. He was not expected to live too much longer. The prayer/healing cloth was placed on his throat. The throat cancer disappeared which was confirmed by his doctor and the lung cancer started to recede. Praise the Lord

[Former producer of the 700 Club]

Mr. Gerard Straub was formerly a producer for Pat Robertson’s 700 Club, but soon became disillusioned with that brand of theocracy. In fact, he was so incensed with Robertson’s demagoguery that he authored a book called “Salvation for Sale,” which exposes Robertson for the fraud that he is. This speech was delivered at a meeting of Americans United in 1995.

Laban Godgson [The Spotlight – 1997]

“Reverend’ Robertson, CBN’s Founder Sells out to Murdoch’s Sleazy Empire”

The internationalist king of sleazy TV and America’s richest televangelist have yoked together in one of the biggest media deals of the year. [over $ 1 billion in personal wealth]

Millions of God-fearing Christians know Reverend Marion “Pat” Robertson and the genial televangelist host of TV’s 700 Club, which is broadcast on the Family Channel. Others know Robertson as the founder of International Family Entertainment (IFE), the parent corporation of the Family Channel, the stated purpose of which is to return to prime time programming such traditional fare as The Waltons, Bonanza, The Beverly Hillbillies, Gunsmoke, and other old shows that an entire family could and can watch together.

Robertson also comes about as close to being a member of the American aristocracy as anyone alive, which is a major reason for the well-disguised contempt he has long held for average Americans.

He is the son of the late Senator A. Willis Robertson, a Democrat who represented Virginia in the Senate from 1949 to 1967. The Robertson family has traced its lineage to two U.S. presidents, William Henry Harrison and Benjamin Harrison, and the Churchill family of England. Robertson is also a descendant of England’s Duke of Marlborough and a graduate of the Yale Law School.

Like his distant relative, Sir Winston Churchill, the preacher is very much an internationalist and an enthusiastic Zionist, although he has made a career of posing as a pseudo-populist. Most Americans are unaware of this masquerade does not speak well of the ability of U.S. citizens to discern what is going on.

Keith Rupert Murdoch, founder, and majority shareholder of the News Corporation has also on more than one occasion posed as a booster of Christian values while backing not only the Israeli government which is considering a measure to outlaw Christian missionary activity but also producing and broadcasting some of the most morally offensive programs on television today.

Rupert Murdoch controls a media empire that includes cable channel Fox News, The Times of London, and The Wall Street Journal. He sold most of Fox’s movie studio, FX, and National Geographic Networks and its stake in Star India to Disney (March 2019) for $71.3 billion. His son, Lachlan, runs the new Fox, which consists of it broadcasts, cable news, business, and sports networks. Interesting, he urged liberal Mike Bloomberg to run for president against Donald Trump. Watch divorces – [not all but the very elite] $1.2 Billion Anna Maria Torv was Rupert Murdoch’s second wife for 32 years until their eventual divorce in 1999.

In 2017, as part of the settlement, MacKenzie Bezos will get 25% of the couple’s Amazon stock, according to an April securities filing. That should give her a 4% stake in the company, which will amount to around $38 billion. Even with the settlement, Jeff Bezos, the CEO, and founder of Amazon (AMZN), is currently the richest individual in the world with an estimated net worth of $118 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

As of July 20, 2022, on Forbes, you may find of interest from previous broadcast and often some of the costly decisions that are forced upon them. With dark and evil, the bill always comes due: [$177 billion as of July 20, 2021 – Forbes] Elon Musk (Telsa), $151 B, Bill Gates (Microsoft) $124 B, Mark Zukerberg (Facebook) $97 B, Warren Buffet (Berkshire) $96 B, and others.

Back to Pat Robertson

Judeo-Christian values mocked

Murdoch’s Fox Broadcasting produces and airs Married with Children — which, while amusing to some, gets its laughs at the expense of mocking the very values held dear by the viewers of “Reverend” Robertson’s Family Channel. Other Fox TV shows include Beverly Hills, 90210, and Melrose Place which glorify everything from the youth drug culture to homosexual couples to divorce.

Under the $1.4 billion deal between Murdoch and Robertson, Murdoch’s News Corporation will own the controlling interest of International Family Entertainment.

What this tells us about the priorities of Robertson is that he is far more interested in being wealthy than in religion — that is, unless he is selling religion. Former White House political director Ed Rollins, now a leading GOP political Consultant, said of Robertson, “He’s a businessman…the product he sells is religion.’ Other observers of Robertson argue that Robertson lubricates his deals with snake oil.

The prospectus he issued to investors during the initial public offering when IFE stock was first offered to investors said: “In the event of a merger or consolidation all classes of shareholders shall be entitled to receive the same per share consideration.”

Yet, under the proposed deal, the former presidential candidate and his son, Timothy B. Robertson, together with control all of the company’s Class A shares, which carried 10 times the voting power of the publicly traded Class B shares (SPOTLIGHT, June 2). Taking full advantage of this discrepancy, the Robertsons have arranged to get $200 million, or nearly $40 a share, while all other stockholders will get about $25 per share.

Murdoch and Robertson are merely the latest internationalists who, like Churchill and other successful politicians and businessmen, have succeeded while getting large support from the trusting-yet-unknowing populist audience to which their policies and business entities set out to do the most harm.

Robertson, however, carries this rank hypocrisy and blatant contempt for ordinary Americans — the very type who are likely to invest in his empire — to a new level. As chairman of IFE — and the primary beneficiary of the sale to Murdoch — Robertson has little regard for one of the golden rules of running a public corporation: Thou shalt not cut yourself a better deal than the rest of the stockholders.
