The Command (Law), Punishment, and Judgment

 

Three Categories of Saints

 

The Holy Spirit identifies “Saints” throughout the Bible to refer to people who have accepted the rule of God in their lives and is a common word for believers of all ages.  Three groups of saints are divided by dispensations or periods of time.

The English word saint comes from the Latin Sanctus, with the Greek [G 40] equivalent being (Hagios) or most holy thing.  Hagios appears 229 times in the Greek New Testament.

• First: Old Testament Saints

Psalm 85:8 “I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints, but let them not turn again to folly.”

Psalm 97:10 “Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.” Saints [H2623]: Pious ones – devoted entirely to God.

Jesus Speaking of John the Baptist, the Law, and Prophets

Matthew 11:10-11 and 13 – 14 “10 For this is he, of whom it is written, behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee (Malachi 3:1). 11 Verily I say unto you, among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias (Elijah), which was for to come.”

Luke 16:16 “The law and the prophets were until John since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it.”

John was the anointed bridge from the Old Testament to the New.  As Jesus stated, he was the last of the Old Testament prophets and stood on the cusp of a new dispensation – the Dispensation of Grace or the Age of the Church [Ekklesia/Ecclesia].  His preaching was the end of the Law and the beginning of the Promise.

Jesus’ full statement in Matthew 11:11 is paradoxical: “Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist, yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” How can John be the greatest, if even the “least in the kingdom” is greater than John?  Again, the answer has to do with the Christian’s unique position in history, not with his personal merit.  John died without seeing the fullness of God’s plan in Christ.

The baptism of John was for acknowledgment and repentance of sin but was only the preparation for the baptism into the Lamb of God.

• Acts 19:1-7 “1 While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul went through the upper inland districts and came down to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. 2 And he asked them, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed [on Jesus as the Christ]? And they said, no, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. 3 And he asked, Into what [baptism] then were you baptized? They said, Into John’s baptism. 4 And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, continually telling the people that they should believe in the One Who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus the Messiah. 5 On hearing this they were baptized [again, this time] in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Matthew 28:18-19 “18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost.”

Church Age – Dispensation of Grace

The second group is the Church [Ekklesia] age wherein saints experience a new birth in the Spirit/spirit.

John 3:3-7 “3 Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus), Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

1 Peter 1:23 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.”

New Testament Saints

Saints [G 40]: Agios.  Set apart for God, as it were, exclusively his.  Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, they may be rendered, through (His) holiness, partakers of salvation in the Kingdom of God.

• Romans 1:5-7 “5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name 6 among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: 7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
• 1 Corinthians 1:1-2 “1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 Unto the church of God, which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.”

Mystery/Mysteries [G 3466]: Mysterion, a hidden purpose or counsel, secret will.  Rabbinic writers – the mystic or hidden sense.

Our study this session will focus on the latter, or as Paul stated three times to distinguish from the other apostles – “my gospel.”

Matthew 13:16-17 “16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear and have not heard them.”

The Mystery of the Body of Christ

Ephesians 5:30-32 “30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ [Christos] and the church [G 1577: Ekklesia].

1 Corinthians 12:12-13 “12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, and all were made to drink of one Spirit.”

Revelation 1:6 “…and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

Revelation 5:8-10 “8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation 10 and hast made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth.”

Elders occur in Revelation 13 times in six verses. [Revelation 4:4 and 10. Revelation 5:8 and 14. Revelation 11:16 and Revelation 19:4].

• Elders [G 4245]: The twenty-four members of the heavenly Sanhedrin or court are seated on the thrones around the throne of God.

Presbyterianism is a part of the Reformed tradition within Protestantism that broke from the Roman Catholic Church.  Presbyterian churches derive their name from the Presbyterian form of church government by representative assemblies of elders. [Wikipedia]

• Kings [G 935]: Prince, commander, Lord of the land, or king.  Of Christians, as to reign over the world with Christ in the millennial kingdom.
• Priest [G 2409]: Of Christians purified by the blood of Christ and brought into intimacy, and closeness, with God devoting their life to Him alone.

Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection, on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

• Reign [G 936]: To be king (Biblehub), to exercise kingly power, to reign.  Christians during the millennium.
  

Church Age – Believing is Seeing

• John 20:28-29 “28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord, and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Mutually Exclusive: The Ekklesia and Israel

Revelation Chapters 2 – 3 (the seven churches) speaks directly to Gentiles and then in Chapter 4:1 AFTER (G 3326: Metatauta), we see John taken up to heaven and shown the tribulation of Gentiles, earth dwellers, and Israel.  The last 3 1/2 years are referred to as the “great tribulation” by Jesus and the time of “Jacob’s trouble) by Jeremiah.

Once Daniel’s 70th week begins (Jacob’s trouble), as with Egypt, the plagues, and the exodus of Israel, God’s supernatural power will once again be on display to all the world.  With unbridled evil, over the seven years of tribulation, belief and acceptance of Yeshua/Jesus will come as much by evidence (judgments), as it was by faith alone.

Perspective on the Horror of the Tribulation

 

Decimation of the Population

The death toll during the tribulation is unfathomable today.  The closest judgment of the world in comparison was at the time of Noah’s flood where estimates range from 1 billion to 5 billion were living at the time.  As we know, only 8 individuals survived the raging (40 days) floods.

Revelation 6:8 “And I looked and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth (1/4) part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

• As of today:

8,000,000,000 (8 billion) times 25% = 2,000,000,000. The remaining population is 6 billion.

Revelation 8:7-11 “7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third (1/3) part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third (1/3) part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third (1/3) part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and the fountains of waters, 11 and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third (1/3) part of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the waters because they were made bitter.”

Revelation 9:15 “And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”

6,000,000,000 (6 billion) times 33% = 1,980,000,000. The remaining population is 5,802,000,000.

Isaiah 13:10-12 “10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.”

Isaiah 24:4-6 “4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few [H 4213 (4x): remnant] men left.

Zephaniah 1:1-3 “1 The word of the Lord which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah. 2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord. 3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the Lord.”

As with the flood of Noah, the Lord is not speaking metaphorically.  The number that will perish during the tribulation is approximately half the current population.  This does not include what the Holy Spirit spoke through Isiah and Zephaniah nor the beasts of the field.

The holocaust slaughtered the World’s Jewish population by a little more than 1/3 (37.5%).  Though the Jewish people (Israel and many in the United States) state the slogan “Never Again,” the Prophet Zechariah in the Old Testament prophesies another, more devastating, calamity for the Jews – “the time of Jacobs trouble,” or the “Great Tribulation.”

• Zechariah 13:8-9 “8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts [2/3] therein shall be cut off and die; but the third [1/3] shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.”

At the current population, the prophecy would mean 10,560,000 Jews would perish during Jacobs Trouble and the other 1/3 [5,280,000] would be tested by fire and refined.

The Ekklesia

Matthew 16:16-23 “16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church [G 1577: Ekklesia]; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

With the Dispensation of Grace complete, the Church Age, or as the Apostle Paul wrote:

Romans 11:25 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”

• Fulness [G 4138]: Full number, abundance.
• John 1:16 “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”
• Colossians 1:19 “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell…”
• Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
• Come in [G1525]: Used absolutely of those who come in – distinguished by Paul (1 Corinthians 5:12) of those within the church (Ekklesia) as opposed to those who are not.
• Third: Tribulation Saints

Daniel 7:25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High and shall wear out the saints of the most High and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

• [Saints: H 6922 (10x)]: Holy – set apart unto God.

Tribulation Saints

Scholars estimate millions of people will come to faith in Christ during the seven years (7^th week – Daniel 9:27) of tribulation who are commonly referred to as the “tribulation saints.”  Scripture confirms that a great multitude of people will be saved during the tribulation.

• Revelation 7:9-16 “9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, “These are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.’”

The Apostle John repeatedly states that tribulation saints will face the likelihood of being martyred under the Antichrist’s demonic rule.  The reason why they are called tribulation saints is because most of them will have to pay the ultimate price for their faith.

Many of the tribulation saints will be martyred

Revelation 6:9-11 “9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held 10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, who should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

• Slain [G 4969 (10)]: To slay, slaughter, butcher, or put to death by violence.  Revelation 5:9, and 12 speak of Jesus being slain (cross), Revelation 6:4 the red horse was given power to take peace from the earth and that they should kill (G4969), and Revelation 13:3 (Son of Perdition) was wounded (G4969) to death.

Revelation 13:5-8 “5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months [3^1/2 years]. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Them that dwell [G 4637 (5x)]: To fix one’s tabernacle, abide or live in a tabernacle (tent).  Angels do not dwell in tents – only Christ tabernacled – pitched a temporary tent.  (Exodus 40:34)

• John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We looked upon His glory, the glory of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

In heaven [G 3772]: Ouranos, “the region above the sidereal heavens, the seat of an order of things eternal and consummately perfect, where God dwells and the other heavenly beings.” Biblehub

• Matthew 3:16 “…and the heavens opened, and God spoke of His Son.”
• Matthew 5:12 “…for your reward is in heaven.”
• Matthew 6:1 “…your Father which is in heaven gives good things.”

Saints [G 40]: Holy as set apart to God.

Overcome [G 3528]: To subdue and prevail.

• Revelation 6:1-2 “1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”
• Revelation 11:7 “And when they (two witnesses) shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them.”

Revelation 13:15 “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

Revelation 14:9-13 “9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worships the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or his hand, 10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yes, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.”

Revelation 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, nor in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

• Beheaded [G 3990 (1x)]: To cut off with an Ax – to chop off the head.

The Guillotine will be used worldwide to slaughter the Saints.

French: The “National Razor”

The origins of the French guillotine date back to late 1789, when Dr. Joseph-Ignace Guillotin proposed that the French government adopt a gentler method of execution.  Although he was personally opposed to capital punishment, Guillotin argued that decapitation by a lightning-quick machine would be more humane and egalitarian than sword and axe beheadings, which were often botched.  He later helped oversee the development of the first prototype, an imposing machine designed by French doctor Antoine Louis and built by a German harpsichord (similar to a piano) maker named Tobias Schmidt.

The device claimed its first official victim in April 1792 and quickly became known as the “guillotine,” much to the horror of its supposed inventor.  Guillotin tried to distance himself from the machine during the guillotine hysteria of the 1790s, and his family later unsuccessfully petitioned the French government to change its name in the early 19th century.

It was used for executions in Nazi Germany.

The guillotine is most famously associated with revolutionary France, but it may have claimed just as many lives in Germany during the Third Reich.  Adolf Hitler made the guillotine a state method of execution in the 1930s and ordered that 20 of the machines be placed in cities across Germany.  According to Nazi records, the guillotine was eventually used to execute some 16,500 people between 1933 and 1945, many of them resistance fighters and political dissidents.

Earth Dwellers: Separate Category During the Tribulation

 

Dwell [G 2730 (6 exact phrases)]: Intransitive, to settle, with the dative (locative) of place. Cambridge Dictionary – not willing to as a verb: “I tried to persuade him, but he would not come.” Earth [G 1093: the inhabited earth]

Properly, settle down as a permanent resident, i.e., in a fixed (permanent) dwelling place as one’s residence; (figuratively) “to be exactly at home.”  [The force of the prefix ( 2596 /katá) suggests ” down to the finest, exact details]. Biblehub

• Revelation 6:10 “…and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
• Revelation 13:14 “…and deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had the power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the”… beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” [Revelation 14:6, and 17:8]

2 Thessalonians 2:1-9 “1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work only HE who now allows will allow until HE is taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”

The only one that is able to restrain the great Dragon, the old Serpent, the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the entire world (Revelation 12:9), is the Holy Spirit.

One other comment we will come back to later.  The man of sin, the son of perdition will be revealed on the world stage and will sign the binding, irrevocable covenant for one week.  In order to do so, he must have the credentials, proven skills, and acceptance of world and religious leaders.  The Son of Perdition (Antichrist) will be an exceptional orator (Hitler), consensus builder, financial genius, and other skills that will eventually lead to his dominant military position in the world.

• Over the last few years, two other prominent theories are being seriously studied.  One by astronomers, scientists, physicists, archaeologists, and the Department of Defense.  On December 20, 2019, the United States Space Force (USSF) was formed when the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law (the first new branch of the armed services in 73 years).

On Aug. 4, 2020, Deputy Secretary of Defense David L. Norquist approved the establishment of an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force (UAPTF).  The Department of the Navy, under the cognizance of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, will lead the UAPTF.  NASA, as well as multiple federal agencies and prime contractors (highest level of national security (Space X, etc.)

July 26, 2023: U.S. recovered non-human ‘biologics’ from UFO crash sites, former intel official [Air Force Major General David Grusch, ret.] claimed the U.S. government has operated a secret “multi-decade” reverse engineering program of recovered vessels.  He also said the U.S. has recovered non-human “biologics” from alleged crash sites.  General Grusch went from being part of the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force to whistleblower testifying before the House Oversight Committee’s national security subcommittee.  He further stated he knows of the exact location of UAPs in the U.S. possession.

In the private sector, under the leadership of Brandon Fugal, the team at Skinwalker Ranch (Utah) has undertaken the most extensive scientific research since the Roswell incident in 1947.

• The government of the Vatican City State supports the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope.  Completed in 1993 on Mount Graham in southeast Arizona.  The astrophysics facility is staffed by Jesuit Priests and houses a Gregorian telescope with capabilities of observing space in optical and infrared.  Their goal is to observe UAPs and, according to the Director of the Observatory, Guy Consolmagno, fully expect visits by extraterrestrial beings or aliens.  Pope Francis has stated that he would baptize these beings.

With the high-quality resolution of the iPhone and similar devices, the capture of sightings (postings on the Internet) has created a frenzy in the current culture.

Although many congregants are aware of the UAP and extraterrestrial events, clergy, especially in the structured denominational churches have been silent.  While the past stigma of UFO and/or alien abduction is being diminished due to the validation of newer technology, science, and acknowledgment and declassification of secret government documents and programs, church leadership has provided little to no guidance regarding the spiritual implications of extraterrestrial phenomenon.

From what I have been shown and understand in Scripture, the “coming great deception” has been meticulously choreographed from the sub-conscience (spiritual realm) to the conscience (physical) psychic of society.  We see today that governments, working with intelligence agencies, have played an integral part in disinformation operations while hiding the truth from citizens.  Besides those mentioned, another example that the American people (and the world) have experienced, and they are going to try again, was prophetically foreshown.

The Rapture

The Rapture is the popular term used to describe one view of the Lord’s return based on the writings of the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:17.  Many Christians believe that they will be snatched up from Earth before the last days, therefore they call this event the “rapture.”  Unfortunately, there are prominent clergy who teach the word “rapture” does not appear in Scripture.  However, if diligent research is applied to the translation of original texts such as Paleo-Hebrew, Greek, and Semitic (Arabic) they will find “Rapiemur” in the Latin Vulgate.

• The Vulgate is a Latin version of the Holy Bible, and largely the result of the labors of St Jerome ( Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus), who was commissioned by Pope Damasus I in 382 A.D. to make a revision of the old Latin translations.  There are 76 books in the Clementine edition of the Latin Vulgate, 46 in the Old Testament, 27 in the New Testament, and 3 in the Apocrypha

The English word “rapture” is transliterated from the Greek word “harpazo” to the Latin Vulgate word “Rapiemur.”  The words harpazo and Rapiemur are similar but with different origins.  “Rapiemur” is from the Latin future passive “raptura” meaning “seizure, kidnapping” which is derived from “raptus” “we shall be carried away,” or “we shall be snatched.”

Paul met a young disciple named Timothy in Lystra and traveled about 60 miles after his death.  Remember the viper that bit Paul – Acts 28:3.
